    Karl –

I really, really enjoy the show. Unfortunately I’m on “tape delay” as I’m at work during your show and listen to the podcasts. I find your market insight fantastic and extremely beneficial to examining the market with different perspectives.

    A couple of questions:

    (a) I know you have discussed the Indonesia Fund (IF) on your show. I would like your perspective on the Taiwan ETF (EWT) – it has an attractive yield and some strong technology companies (like MediaTek) that aren’t on US exchanges.
    (b) When the economy starts to pick up, generally the Dow Transports are out of the gate quickly but that group isn’t leading the pack in this case. When do you anticipate transports will REALLY take off – when consumer spending starts to pick up?

Thanks for the comments. Good thing for podcasts, huh?

I really like EWT and will be a holding of mine when we invest more cash. I own IF right now, GXC, & EWZ, but will add EWT soon.

As far as the transports, it’s not an area I invest in much but I’d disagree that they havne’t run. The IYT has gone from $38 to $66. That’s a huge run. I expect more as the economy continues to recover.
